Mostly Finished

The business is mostly over. The "forcing" was as successful as it could have been. No damage that can be seen with the human eye.

The bank account will hurt. My heart is heavy. Believe it or not, such confrontations are painful for me.

Having my mom and close friends close during this time was helpful. Very helpful. That I was here now was good. I was able to visit a close friend that was diagnosed with breast cancer this week.

She has 5 lumps in her right breast. The cancer is in her right lymph nodes. She will have chemo. She will have a mastectomy within the next two weeks. She had a mammogram one year and 4 months ago. Her mother and grandmother both died of breast cancer. She is afraid it may have spread to other parts of her body.

I still look forward soon to being at home with my family... wrinkles, scabs and all. I wish I could be closer to help my 3rd friend with breast cancer.

It will have to be done from a distance.
