Definitely Not Gas
The pain started at about 10pm. I mentioned it to Wood and then we went to bed. Except that I couldn't sleep. The pain kept getting worse.
I made my way to the couch so that Wood wouldn't be disturbed. I sat, walked, used the heating pad, pulled out a hard bucket just in case. No relief at all.
Finally, at 3:30, I woke Wood and told him that I had not slept at all, that the pain was bad. He suggested Pepto Bismol. I explained that I've never felt pain like this. We agreed that I needed to go to the Emergency Room.
I drove myself, parked in the lot and got in really fast. Pain meds, IV, a cat scan and less than 3 hours later, I have been diagnosed with Appendicits. Surgery later today, I suppose.
Bam will come to town. I have no idea what the recovery period is. Wow. I'm kinda loopy - no sleep for 24hrs plus dilauted.
More later.
