I don't have breast cancer! The doc says what's happening in the nether regions doesn't look like cancer (not that I even had that on my radar screen). Just started watching the show on netflix - from the beginning. It's a great show and a lot resonates. Parenting, relationships, family. Kind of reminds me of 30 Something. But better. And the fact that it takes place in Berkeley, even though most of the locations aren't Berkeley/Oakland, is a bit endearing. Thanks for reading. This blog started as a journal used in between weekly therapy sessions. Even though my $125 an hour was well spent, I had an intense need to get more off my chest in between sessions.
The Nice Lady and I don't spend quality time together any more but the exercise of journaling continues to be an important way that I process my experiences, thoughts and feelings on a multitude of subjects.
Writing is perfect because frankly, I talk too much. When I process by writing, those around me aren't obligated to listen to me process aloud. It's tricky though; My experience is that journaling your truth will get you one hell of a beating once other people read it. In the face of that, I write and invite you to read and make a comment or two.
Nice Lady: So, does your family suffer from mental illness? Patient: No, I think they all enjoy it!

Please tell me that you don't have breast cancer. I love the show. Watch it with Mario every week.
