Friday's My Savior
My staff have been sick. I am pretty sure despite my excessive intake of vitamin c, I'm getting something, too.
We moved a mouse with us. In my infinite wisdom I snatched a couple of more traps from the old place and set them up in the new place. Okay, the mouse poop after a couple of days in the new place tipped me off. The little bastard is dead now. I'll keep up the vigilance to be safe. Ugh.
The boy starts to get busy this week with performances. Two on Saturday, one on Sunday, several during the week through the last week of December. Singing plus acting and martial arts (even if it is the after school program) is too much.
My sleep has been good. This morning was an anomaly - the pitter patter of rain woke me at about 4 or so. My dreams of joyfully and contentedly working as a retail clerk at Fred Meyer and my busy thoughts about our holiday gift program that is woefully underfunded and fraught with structural troubles kept me up.
My health is tenuous - the cold and the lady troubles are tiresome as is work and our extra curricular activities. Friday is my savior because I'll get at least a minute to clean the house and relax.
