Today's the Day

We move today. We aren't at all prepared. We collected some boxes and I started to cull through stuff but don't have as much time as I'd like between work, Twig, the school auction and the limited amount of sleep that I do get. I took yesterday off to pack and prepare but I got completely derailed by an auction meeting, a doctor appointment, boychoir, and work.

Speaking of the doctor... A new ob/gyn since we moved to he lovely state of Oregon. My first visit, of course, on an urgent basis. Turns out I've got excema and exceptionally mild but likely chronic yeast in me nether regions. When I say the words, not for internet consumption, I can't do so without laughing. It sounds funny, sure. It hurts like a bee-atch! With some heavy duty cortisone type cream and 6 weeks of diflucan (okay, okay, and some dietary and exercise changes), I'll be good as new in nothing flat. Sorry for the TMI, but hey, this isn't exactly Facebook. But it may go to why I feel generally like Crap these days - headaches, hair falling out like mad, pimples (Huh? I'm in my mid 40's), achy, tired, etc.

So, Twig is frightened of the move (everything, really these days) so my goal will be to get his room completely set up before he comes home tonight. Other than that, my only plan is to have the guys move the heavy stuff. The rest can be moved one car load at a time - we don't have to be out of here until the 21st and my mom will be here for the next 10 days. Thank goodness!

Okay, its 6 am. I feel like I need to get moving. Can't imagine why.
